The Andean Trade Promotion and Drug Eradication Act has expired as of February 12, 2011. The Act was to engage economic development in the Andean countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru) and provide them incentive to grow alternative crop as oppose to drug (mainly cocaine) production.
